Background
Compo Tech was established by Bjarne Henriksen in 1991. The basic idea was to create a fast and efficient supplier of MDF components to the woodworking and furniture industries plus 3D foliation of units for the kitchen and bathroom industry.
Thanks to Bjarne Henriksens great enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit the concept got the attention and energy it needed, making Compo Tech the successful company it is today.
Today Compo Tech owns some 10.000 square metres
of production and office facilities and more than 20.000 square metres of land in the town of Snejbjerg where the company has been domiciled since 1991.
In 1995 Compo Tech became a private limited company and Bjarne Henriksen’s son, Bo Henriksen, joined the management team with a 22 per cent stake. In 2001 Bo Henriksen was appointed director with responsibility for one of Compo Tech’s divisions. The company has commenced a smooth generational handover – ensuring the prospective growth and development of Bjarne Henriksens life’s work!
